The power of “Thank You”

Early this morning I stopped off at the 7-Eleven to pick up my daily beverage.

It was still dark outside.

As I approached the door, a gentleman held the door open for me.

I thanked him.

He smiled.

It felt good, knowing that his simple act of kindness,
followed by my simple act of acknowledgement,
created the perfect start to another day.

In a troubling world…
the smallest things DO make a difference.

thank-you
